چکیده
Abstract The shipping industry is striving to reduce its negative environmental footprint and become more energy-efficient. In order achieve this, undergoing the transition towards innovative engine propulsion systems attracting considerable attention. However, economic aspect of paramount importance for decision-makers (e.g. ship owners) when it comes investing in technologies. For this reason, required have a comprehensive holistic view on impacts such technologies at an early stage. This paper proposes life-cycle cost analysis (LCCA) framework be implemented emission reduction marine engines. proposed will able serve as decision support tool that beneficial owners during decision-making process retrofitting investments.

Development of a Mathematical Model for Prediction of Pollutants Emission in D. I. Diesel Engines
Major pollutants emission from Direct-Injection (D.I) diesel engines are predicted by means of a mathematical model. In order to construct such a model, an integral Multi-Zone Combustion Model (MZCM) is formulated, which basically consists of jet mixing and combustion submodels. In MZCM, variation of injection pressure is considered. Also time period of ignition delay is predicted by considerin...

A multi-objective optimization model for the life-cycle cost analysis and retrofitting planning of buildings
The building sector contributes a large proportion of the world’s total final energy consumption. As a result, considerable attention has been paid to energy efficiency in the building sector. At the current stage, building retrofitting is the most feasible and cost-effective method to improve building energy efficiency. This paper presents a multi-objective optimization model for life-cycle co...
